Miley may be denying a reconnection with Nick Jonas, but eyewitnesses are singing a different tune, insisting they had lunch together on March 25. Why do you think she’s denying it?

Miley Cyrus is using Twitter to clear the air on a lunch date she went on with Nick Jonas on March 25. While Miley says she hasn’t seen the singer in years, eyewitnesses aren’t backing down!

Miley tweeted on March 27, “I literally haven’t seen Nick Jonas in years. Don’t believe everything you read folks. Why are magazines allowed to publish straight bull s**t.”

The former Disney star then took a jab at outlets suggesting she’s having problems with Liam Hemsworth because she was spotted without her engagement ring. “Look at my profile pic. Look at my finger. Idiots. I couldn’t have ‘ran’ into anyone because I haven’t went to eat out in public in weeks because of the amount of paparazzi outside my house,” she said.

Eyewitnesses Insists Miley Cyrus Dined With Nick Jonas

However, Twitter users such as @SamyThor insist that Miley and Nick were together. @SamyThor writes, “Miley cyrus was at paty’s with nick Jonas like 10 mins ago. So cool.”

Also, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “[There was] absolutely no romantic vibe at all, at any time while they ate and while they were there. It seemed more like a meeting than a friendly chit chat or get together â€" it was a more serious tone, based on their demeanor. They seemed to be having a business meeting â€" they were on their phones and then they left without incident.”

While there were certainly no romantic vibes, our source confirms the date did happen.
