Channel Five has removed Rolf Harris’ TV show Animal Clinic from its schedule following the arrest of the presenter for historic sex offences.
The Aussie star was taken into custody last month as part of Operation Yewtree, the inquiry put together to investigate allegations into sex offences committed by the late Jimmy Savile.
The 83-year-old has been bailed until May. Speaking about their decision to pull Rolf’s show â€" which gets 80,000 viewers each week â€" from the air, Channel 5 said:
“While this legal matter involving Rolf Harris is on-going we have removed his shows from the Channel 5 schedule.â€
Harris has vehemently denies the allegations made against him.
