In an All-Star Celebrity Apprentice episode in which the teams were tasked with creating a live soap opera for Crystal Light Liquid, another real soap opera-esque feud developed between two of the contestants, with one them ultimately being fired. La Toya Jackson was about as mild-mannered as they come last time she competed on Celebrity Apprentice, but the “entertainment icon†(as identified on the show) insisted she wasn’t going to get pushed around this season. So when La Toya became Project Manager for Team Power and felt Omarosa was not respecting her authority…well, It. Was. On. The bickering was so intense that twice La Toya ended up accusing Omarosa of killing her fiancé: “Omarosa is the most evil person I have ever met. She’s a no good, conniving scheming, cut-throat, probably pulled the cord on Michael Duncan Clarke.†(I’m pretty sure she means Michael Clarke Duncan.)
But then, after Trump refused to deputize La Toya to fire Omarosa in the Boardroom herself, the singer/Playboy model shocked everyone by deciding not to bring Omarosa back with her in the Boardroom after it was announced her team had lost. Instead she brought back Dennis and Brande, ensuring that she herself would be fired since those two had done nothing wrong.
When pressed why she had not brought back her arch nemesis â€" who skipped half of the task after learning that the 911 call involving her former fiancé was about to be made public â€" La Toya said she worried that Trump may have been swayed by what appeared to be fake tears by Omarosa while talking about Duncan. (More likely Trump is swayed by his misguided belief that people actually enjoy watching this woman shamelessly try to act like a villain because that is the only way she knows how to get attention.)
In the end, La Toya was fired (for the third time in two seasons), and both contestants and viewers were stuck with Omarosa for yet another week.
