KATY Perry is giving men a wide berth after her split with John Mayer.
Just when things appeared to be getting serious, with rumours of an engagement even doing the rounds, the couple called it quits for the third time last week.
Now heartbroken Katy, 28, is planning on showing any potential suitors the red card as she invests time in herself.
An insider told Heat magazine: “It’s been a really tough time for Katy.
"John just emotionally bailed on her.
"She can’t believe she’s back to square one. She’s had enough of men.â€
Katy now plans throw herself into work projects and hang out with her friends, including new BFF Kristen Stewart.
The source continued: “Katy is concentrating on healing, working on new music, and spending time with her girlfriends."
