Famous ITV detective series Broadchurch is on the verge of disclosing some last insight into Danny Latimerâs death. And the showâs producer Richard Stokes has got excited about it as he pours his emotions on his Twitter handle. â#Broadchurch tonight- donât miss the beginning and please watch to the very, very end. Thanks for joining us on the rideâ, Stokes tweeted on Monday morning.
Danny Latimer, 11, Beth Letimerâs only son, who was murdered and his killer has been kept a closely guarded secret throughout the ITV series, with even the Broadchurch actors kept in the dark, is expected to be unveiled tonight. Broadchurch writer Chris Chibnall said, âWe made a decision early on: we wouldnât tell the actor(s) or actress(es) playing the person(s) responsible for Danny Latimerâs death that they were the killer(s). It added a level of intrigue to the production: The cast and crew started their own sweepstake, the make-up truck kept rougesâ gallery of photofit pictures on their walls.â
Broadchurch has also learnt the trick of trusting its audience not just with a lot of episodes but also with some serious, slow and breathtaking stories. The British TV trend is that the mainstream audiences will simply not stick around unless it is fresh or some real high car chase drama every time. The eight-part drama has been an ITV success, attracting an estimated 7million viewer for every episode. Ellie Millerâs husband Joe remains the prime suspect among viewers on Twitter.
