Madonnaâs homeless brother wound up with nine stitches in his head after causing a commotion with Michigan cops.
The famous pop starâs 56-year-old sibling, Anthony Ciccone, was arrested Sunday after refusing to leave a public bathroom in Traverse City, Mich., a local paper reported.
The borderline brother â" who has a long history of alcoholism â" was found by cops in the Grand Traverse County Civic Center, according to the Traverse City Record-Eagle.

A female police officer tried to arrest the highly intoxicated vagrant on an outstanding trespassing warrant.
Ciccone refused to leave â" and got physical with the police officer, said the Eagle-Record.
Thatâs when the female cop decided it was time to express herself.

Madonna's publicist declined to comment on the incident.
âHe pulled away, turned around and confronted the female officer in an aggressive manner,â Traverse City Police Capt. Brian Heffner told the paper.
âShe turned him around and brought him to the ground, which is when he struck his face on the bathroom floor,â Heffner said.
Ciccone's forehead required nine stitches.

Madonna and her brother Anthony have long been estranged.
Police say Ciccone's blood-alcohol level was 0.40. The legal limit for driving is 0.08.
No attorney is listed for Ciccone, who was arraigned Monday on the trespassing warrant and held without bond in the county jail.
Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, declined to comment.

Cicconeâs outstanding trespass warrant stemmed from a March incident in a bookstore.
He made himself comfortable by reclining in front of a fireplace at Horizon Books and refused to leave, according to the Record.
Ciccone has several other trespassing-related charges, the paper reported.
