Joss Whedon's modern-day take on William Shakespeare's 1598 comedy stars former Angel actors Alexis Denisof and Amy Acker as sparring lovers Beatrice and Benedick.
Released exclusively through Digital Spy, the trailer features several more actors who have a history with Whedon, including Nathan Fillion as buffoonish police chief Dogberry, Sean Maher as the villainous Don John and Clark Gregg as Leonato.
The idea for the adaptation came out of Whedon's regular brunch ritual, wherein he would invite regular collaborators -Â including Denisof, Acker and Fillion -Â over to his house for recitals of Shakespeare plays.
The film was shot in 12 days at locations in and around Whedon's Santa Monica home.
Reed Diamond, Fran Kranz, Tom Lenk and Ashley Johnson round out the supporting cast.
Much Ado About Nothing will be released on June 14 in the UK.
