The boys were already showing a more polished performance than when they opened their Take Me Home tour in February.
All of the tracks were greeted with serious crowd screaming, but the noise predictably hit fever pitch with the hits Up All Night, One Way Or Another and Little Things.
The boys know what side their bread is buttered, serving up What Makes You Beautiful for the encore.

HOLLY Revell, who came with mum Kerry, pal Katie Webley, seven, and her mum Joanne, from Notts, said: âWeâre so excited. Niall is our favourite because of his hairstyle.â
And Morgan Davies, nine, from south Wales said: âHarryâs the best â" I love him.â
NEVE SPALDING, seven, of Kinross, Scotland said: âI sent Harry a Valentineâs card and he replied with a video message, tickets for The Sun gig and this signed cut-out.â
Pal Lauryn Kerr, ten, also from Kinross, added: âNiallâs my favourite. Weâre having a great day out.â Mums Lisa and Gillian meanwhile enjoyed eyeing up the bandâs guitarist over a gin and tonic.
Welsh fans Georgia Fearn, 12, and mum Anne wore 1D onesies. Georgia said: âI was so excited when I heard The Sun was doing this concert.â
A broken leg couldnât stop Nikki OâShea, 17, from Middlesex.
She hobbled in on crutches with friend George Storr and said: âI wouldnât have missed this for the world.â
