Selena Gomez slipped on some acid-wash short shorts for a day of shopping in Beverly Hills on April 15.

The 20-year-old singer -- who performed her new song "Come and Get It" for the first time at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday -- paired the high-waisted hot pants with a sexy sheer shirt and strappy high heels.

Gomez is ready to change her squeaky clean image, first starring in Harmony Korine's "Spring Breakers" as she gears up to release a much more mature album. "I wanted to make the performance something that'd be a game-changer for me, personally, because I wanted to out-do everything else I've done as an artist," she told MTV of her Movie Awards gig. "'I love dancing. I love the feel of the song and the tribal feel, so I wanted to incorporate that, so I just wanted a fresh take on what, you know, the new chapter is for me. So I'm excited."
