MARIAH Carey has a 'mermaid moment' as she glides across a swimming pool in a ballgown.
The songbird took the plunge in a glamorous gold maxi-dress as she celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary with husband Nick Cannon.
Mariah, 43, is currently on holiday and made the most of the time out to relax as she cheekily dove in to the pool without taking time out to change in to her bikini.

She posted a snap to her Twitter page as she was about to the take the plunge showing off her stunning curvaceous figure wrapped in the elegant frock as she glanced over her shoulder and wrote: "The pool looks great..jump in? Why not! #splash."

And the Hero singer added more snaps to her facebook page where she was seen looking up at the sky as it rained.
She said: "Having a mermaid moment in the nice water.. and then it rained!"

Mariah also uploaded a series of pictures of her and Nick, 32, looking very much in love as they playfully frolicked around the resort including one where he carried her as she stretched out in his arms.
And in another the couple - who have two-year-old twins named Monroe and Moroccan - held hands and laughed as they strolled along.

The pair also enjoyed a fun Easter with their children as they frolicked in fancy dress for the occasion.
Dressed in a skimpy pink bandeau dress and bunny ears Mariah lay across Nick who was clad head to toe in a colourful rabbit suit as she delicately clutched a glass of champagne.

She uploaded the funny snap and wrote on her Twitter page: "Happy Easter dahhlings...I finally caught the Easter bunny."
