It's time to usher in a new era in film, you guys, because Jessica Alba is ready to really bring it. See, earlier in her career, she did a lot of movies just for the love of it, but now that she's a mom, she wants to focus on the roles that really matter.
No, seriously, that's what she said:
âWhen you have kids, you kind of think, I donât need to work just to work. I want to sink my teeth into a character that makes it worth not being with my kids, or not being at the office. Having kids, having strong relationships with my husband, my friends, that it is my priority⦠thatâs what really defines me, not a tabloid or a movie opening or a poster or an endorsement.â
OK, so to clarify, this means that Jessica Alba thinks that people take her seriously as an actress, right? She thinks that people will look back on her work in such fine films as "Into the Blue" and "The Love Guru" and think "This is a woman who really needs her time to shine." That's something that's going on in her head, isn't it?
Can someone pat her on the head and watch a "Dark Angel" episode with her or something? Just to make her feel special for a minute so she gets this thought out of her head?
