Rihanna is never one to shy away from confrontation but even her latest comments may cause some to quake in their boots with the singer blasting columinist Liz Jones as "bitter" after the reporter wrote a scathing article in which she referred to RiRi as a "poisonous pop princess."
Jones wrote a harsh piece on the 'Diamonds' singer for the Daily Mail on Tuesday (June 25), which she used to label the pop star "toxic" and a bad role model for young girls, even bringing up the assault she suffered at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009 and going as far as to claim her stage outfits can encourage "rape."

Recalling one of her first meetings with RiRi at London Fashion Week last February, Jones said: "She looked pretty. She wasn't exposing any under-boob. She certainly wasn't pretending to ram a jewelled microphone into her nether regions, as she has been doing on stage of late."
Jones then went on to slam Rihanna, 25, for rekindling her romance with Chris almost four years after he was convicted of assaulting her.
"I don't care if she has the voice of an angel and is self-made, feisty and confident," Jones writes.
"All these qualities pale to nothing when we know she went back to her abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to assaulting her in 2009; that she promotes drug-taking, drinking and the sort of fashion sense on stage that surely invites rape at worst, disrespect at least."
After further bashing, Jones concluded her piece saying that Rihanna "should come with a government health warning."
A furious RiRi took to her Instagram account to launch an attack at Jones after catching wind of the article, and admitted that she is still trying to work past her demons.
"LOL!!!! My money got a bad habit of pissing people off!! If you sincerely wanna help little girls more than their own parents do, here's a toxic tip: don't be amateur with your articles, you sound bitter!" Rihanna wrote alongside a rather unflattering photo of columnist Jones.

"What's all this about hair and nails and costumes and tattoos?? ....That s**t ain't clever!!! That s**t ain't journalism! That's a sad sloppy menopausal mess!!! Nobody over here acts like they're perfect! I don't pretend that I'm like you, i just live... My life!! And I don't know why y'all still act so surprised by any of it!" RiRi continued.
The 'We Found Love' singer goes on to insist that she has never attempted to portray herself as the perfect "pop princess."
"Role Model" is not a position or title that I have ever campaigned for, so chill wit dat! I got my own f**ked up s**t to work on, I'll never portray that as perfect, but for right now it's ME!! Call it what ya want!!" a clearly seething RiRi wrote.
"Toxic was cute, Poisonous Pop Princess had a nice ring to it, just a lil wordy! And P.S. my first American Vogue cover was in 2011...APRIL!!! #ElizabethAnnJones."
