The former Desperate Housewives actress took to her blog, writing: "Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my master's degree in Chicano Studies! You're never too old or too busy to continue your education!"
Marcia Cross - her former co-star in the ABC drama - also gave her congratulations to Longoria on Twitter.
The 38-year-old actress, who has been attending events at the Cannes Film Festival this week, also posted a picture of herself with Cheryl Cole from last weekend.
Longoria added the caption: "Me and my twin sister @cherylcole at Cannes!"
Both Cole and Longoria walked the red carpet for the premiere of Benicio Del Toro's new drama Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian) last Saturday (May 18).
