It is the country that has produced some of the world's most beautiful supermodels, including the likes of Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Isabel Goulart and Ana Beatrice Barros.
And now Gracie Carvalho is flying the flag for Brazil by also becoming one of the faces of lingerie giant Victoria's Secret.
The relatively new 23-year-old recruit has flown to St Barts for a swimsuit shoot and was seen posing in an array of bikinis on the beach on Thursday.

First up, the brunette beauty displayed her flawless figure in a colourful triangle two-piece.
Then, the incredibly toned statuesque stunner slipped into a mismatched set consisting of paisley printed bottoms and a black and white striped bikini top.
Soaking up the sunshine, she placed her hands behind her head to do a standard supermodel pose.

During the day, Gracie also shared a behind-the-scenes snap of the shoot.
Posing this time in a pink bikini, she larked around with heavily tattooed photographer James Macari.
Gracie flew to St Barts earlier in the week and was clearly excited about the trip.
'On my way to ST Barths , paradise here I go' she wrote on the social networking page on Tuesday.

Gracie debuted on the fashion scene in 2009, where she walked the runway at the fall Rio and São Paulo fashion weeks.
Then aged 19, she caught the eyes of casting agents, and by June she was the most requested model during the spring Rio Fashion Week, walking in 35 of the 39 shows.
Gracie then landed the covers of Brazilian L'Officiel in as well as editorials for Brazilian Elle and Brazilian Vogue.
The model then strutted the catwalks in New York, where she walked the runway for Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, and Vera Wang before jumping to Paris to model for Stella McCartney.
She also sashayed down the catwalk at the Diane Von Furstenberg and Miu Miu resort shows.
