She found fame as a reality star, before announcing she had bagged her very own modelling contract on Tuesday.
And Lucy Mecklenburgh appeared to have been working on her supermodel style as she stepped out near her home in Brentwood, Essex, on Wednesday.
Ditching her usual uniform of girlie dresses and towering wedges, the 21-year-old TOWIE star looked as though she was aiming for an edgier sartorial direction as she headed out to her fashion boutique.

Replacing her usually perfectly teased waves with a stylish topknot hairstyle, Lucy showed off her slim model figure in a salmon pink high-necked top with half sleeves, while strutting her stuff in a pair of white skinny jeans.
The pretty brunette completed her casual daytime look with oversized shades and sensible flat sandals as she emerged from her white Audi sports car.
In addition to launching her modelling career, Lucy seemed excited at seeing her fashion boutique expand with a new store in Southend, Essex.

Writing on her Twitter page on Wednesday, she said: 'Just visited My NEW @lucys_boutique .. It will be open very soon, it is located in Southend Victoria shopping centre.'
The reality star announced she was joining Select Model Management on Tuesday, tweeting alongside a high-fashion shot: 'I'm pleased to announce I have signed with @SelectModelMgmt.'
Since splitting from former fiance, Mario Falcone, in April, Lucy has been throwing herself into a rigorous diet and exercise regime.

Speaking about her changing figure, she said recently: 'I noticed a difference in myself, I felt healthier, had lots more energy, I was more toned.
'I've lost all my cellulite, my body feels amazing and I've even started to get little abs.'
