Dec Donnelly 'finds love with his manager Ali Astall after months of secret dates'

Dec Donnelly is said to have found love with his manager, Ali Astall.

The pair are believed to have forged a close bond after a decade of working alongside each other with the 34-year-old blonde managing the career of both Dec, 37, and his presenting sidekick, Ant McPartlin.

And after 'adoring each other for years', the couple have reportedly turned their friendship into a romance, and told their bosses at celebrity agency James Grant Management that they are officially a couple.

A source told The Sun newspaper: 'They've adored each other for years and people have often thought they were together - but it's only recently they finally became an item. They kept it quiet for ages but are at last coming to terms with being a couple in public.'

Dec and Ali are said to have enjoyed a series of secret dates for 'several months', and have regularly been spotted out and about together in Chisick, West London, where they both live.

And the pair have even filled their respective families in on the news of their blossoming romance.
The source added: 'They have told their families the news as they all know each other anyway.

'To be honest, it hasn't come as much of a surprise to some because they'd always been close.'

Dec has been predominantly single since splitting from Sky Sports News presenter Georgie Thompson in 2011 after a two-year relationship.

The Geordie star's longest relationship was with TV actress Clare Buckfield, who he dated for 11 years before parting ways in 2003.

Most recently, Dec was linked to former Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts after the pair flirted up a storm on the last series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Speaking to Radio Times earlier this year, Dec explained he's very particular when it comes to his choice of girlfriends. He said: 'People often ask why I haven't settled down yet. Perhaps I'm incredibly fussy.'
