She may not have been crowned Queen of the dance floor on Strictly, but Nancy Dell'Olio could certainly pick up the award for the most flamboyant outfits.

The 51-year-old was spotted leaving Scott's, in London, after eating lunch with a couple of girlfriends dressed in an eye-catching sixties style orange dress embellished with a white trim and pockets on the sleeves and skirt.

Never one to under accessorise, Nancy paired the orange outfit with a pair of drop pearl earrings, silver bangles, a cream Chanel shoulder bag and oversized sunglasses.

She completed the ensemble with a pair of frighteningly high wedges, accentuated her toned legs as she strutted out of the Mayfair restaurant on Mount Street on Wednesday.

Nancy was totally engrossed in a conversation with her two glamorous friends outside the restaurant before they noticed they had been spotted and began to laugh and smile for the cameras.

The Italian beauty is known to enjoy a gathering and has recently been spotted out on the party scene, including the Serpentine summer party, the Groucho club and the Dom Perignon Rose party.

There was no sign of a male partner at the lunch as the glamorous Italian is still single since she split up with Sir Trevor Nunn, the celebrated theatre director, almost two years ago.

But Nancy has recently admitted she is ready for a new relationship.

A former Italian-American lawyer, Nancy was thrust into the media spotlight following her relationship with Sven-Goran Eriksson with ended in 2007, after the football manager embarked on affairs with Ulrika Jonsson and secretary Faria Alam.

After a number of projects including hosting Footballers' Cribs on MTV, publishing an autobiography and appearing on Strictly Come Dancing, she began contributing to the Sunday editions of The Sun in 2012.

But recently Nancy announced she is launching her own beauty brand and false eyelashes will be the first product from her range to go on sale, and will then venture into hair, make-up and perfume.

She modelled a pair of her own brand Nancy false eyelashes for the first time as she attended the Sunseeker super-yacht party in Cannes in May for singer Stacey Jackson's album launch.
