As the wives and girlfriends of some of the country's top footballers, WAGs should know what is the most appropriate kit to play footy in.

But Jude Cisse clearly hadn't paid attention as she flashed her thong while trying to stop her black bottoms from falling down.

The incident occurred as the estranged wife of former Liverpool player Djibril Cisse geared up to play in a charity football match with her fellow WAGs.

The organiser of the day was Chantelle Tagoe, who through her organisation One Goal Foundation, hopes to raise money for those in need in South Africa, after witnessing the harrowing reality of the shanty towns and it's poorest inhabitants while taking part in a documentary during the 2010 World Cup.

Joining Chantelle - fiancée of Newcastle Jets striker Emile Heskey - and Jude were Jess Lawlor, Leanne Brown, Dani Lawrence, Liz Wheeler, Amber Wheeler, Magali Gorre, Shirley Cole and Mhari Oakes.

One Goal Foundation: The girls were training to play in a charity match to raise money for the underprivileged in South Africa

Getting some much needed training in before the August game date, the WAG tried their best to stay upright as they took to the field, but one player looked a little more confident than the other wives and girlfriends.

Dani Lawrence - girlfriend of Liverpool goalie Brad Jones - was on the 2007 series of Britain's Next Top Model, is now a physiotherapist and looked like she had picked up a few tips from her footballer lover.

And the team will need to use the advantage of having professional players for partners when they take on their all-star female celebrity rivals.

However, Jessica Lawlor may want to get a few more pointers as she plumetted to the ground during one confrontation on the field.

But as it's all for a good cause, their lack of footballing ability can be overlooked, as they will certainly providfe ninety minutes of amusement for those in the crowd when they do take to the pitch.

Their manager will be Carla Kompany, wife of Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, and the match will kick off at 1pm on August 4th.
